I am excited to introduce you to the first "issue" of SOAR, PCA's student online magazine for the fine arts. I love what our students are doing!

Developing the individual gifts of our students is part of the mission of Portsmouth Christian Academy. As you browse through this site, you will find a broad array of expression of those talents - from poetry to photography and much more. You can be impressed, but more importantly is my hope that through this work you develop new insights into the world that God has created and His most valuable creation - mankind. Art has the opportunity to open worlds to us and provide insights into the questions of life.

I like this innovative, multi-modal approach to displaying the work of our students. The ability to harness technology to provide a platform involves students with additional talents. I am grateful to all the students who have chosen to be part of this endeavor.
